Vegetable Biryani, Andhra cuisine
Ingredients:
For masala powder
cloves - 2 cups
cinnamon - 1 cup
cardamom - 1 cup
cumin - 1 1/2 cup
coriander seeds - 1 1/2 cup
shajeera - 3/4 cup
japatri - 1 cup
anasa puvvu - 1 cup
jajikaya - 4
gasagasalu - 1 cup
For Biryani
Basmati Rice
Oil
Ginger garlic paste
Green chilies
Onions - 1
Beans - 10
Carret - 1
Potato - 1
Curry Leaves 4 to 6
Mint Leaves 1 string
Coriander Leaves
Method
Dry roast all the masala ingredients.
Make the powder.
Store it in a air tight container.
1.Heat the pan add oil.
2.Add onions,green chillies,
3.Add ginger garlic paste.
4.Add the vegetables.
5.Add 2 Teasppons of masala powder
6.Add salt.
7.Add the soaked rice and turn off the flame.
8.Take one and half glass of water for 1 glass of rice add to it.
9.Pressure cook upto 3 whistles.
